JazzMutant Lemur to be discontinued, iPad alone in the multitouch game for the musicians ?

It is really a sad news ! JazzMutant Lemur the pioneer in multitouch surface controllers for the musicians will be discontinued at the end of this year… With touchscreens tablet going mainstream and the huge price difference the difference was somewhat inevitable.  Earlier this year though, talking with MusicRadar they had stated "We believe that [the iPad] is not really the same kind of product. The Lemur is a device dedicated to music and visual control. The iPad, on the other hand, is a mainstream product, a 'jack-of-all-trades' that's not specifically tailored to musicians' needs."
